1. As the units fill the “A” shape becomes more apparent and the units become increasingly stable. The greatest stability is developed with full inflation and is most effective when floodwaters build-up on the side of the barrier indicated by the arrows found in the unit label. 2. When filling and after, although rarely needed, additional support can be afforded by the use of any available object that has sufficient mass. Suitable objects could be vehicles, pallets, sandbags, or additional FLOODWALLS units. The FW units can be situated parallel along the length of the barrier or perpendicular, as is seen in the construction of the 90 corner. Location – Maryland, US and Czech Republic.
